The Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) in the right front, second-row right, and second-row left seat belt assemblies may deactivate before the seat belts are fully retracted, which can result in an unsecured child restraint system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

A software programming error with a welding robot may have caused the vehicle's center pillar to be welded incorrectly.
